Standardized Part Numbering

Every visible product surface must carry an unambiguous part index (01 Housing, 02 Trim, 03 Yoke). Numbered tags eliminate miscommunication between industrial design, mechanical engineering, and toolmakers.

Material Grades & Standards

Specify precise chemical designations (e.g. AL6063-T6, SUS304, PC/ABS Bayer Bayblend) rather than generic labels. Include international color standards (Pantone FHI, RAL Classic) for color matching.

Surface Finishes & Textures

Reference standardized mold texture standards (SPI A1/A2/B1, VDI 3400 scale from #12 to #45) and surface treatments (anodizing micron thickness, PVD coating, micro-bead blast mesh sizes).
